Scholarship and Financial Aid
If you require financial assistance, please download and print both pages of the Financial Assistance (Tuition Remission) Form and the GNCS Scholarship (Tuition Grant) Form.
Instructions for Financial Assistance (Tuition Remission)
- All sections of the Financial Assistance Form must be completed and submitted by August 1st.
- Assistance is calculated using federal guidelines, but not federally funded.
- In order to provide the best privacy, the completed form will only be reviewed and calculated by the Assistant Treasurer for the Board of Trustees of the Glenview New Church.
- The amount of the financial assistance (tuition remission) is determined by compiling the information into a formula recommended by the federal government. This formula results in a specific dollar amount, which the Glenview New Church Schools, in turn, exempts from the tuition.
- Applicants will receive a response from the Assistant Treasurer with their first tuition billing statement (approximately September 15th). If there are questions, please contact the Assistant Treasurer directly or the Principal.
Instructions for GNCS Scholarship (Tuition Grant)
- NOTE: To be considered for a GNCS Tuition Grant, applicants must also have completed the Financial Assistance Form.
- Completed forms must be submitted by October 15th.
- Applications are reviewed by the Tuition Committee, consisting of 3 members of the Glenview New Church and the Assistant Treasurer.
- Grant amounts are determined solely by decision of the Tuition Committee.
- Grants are awarded on a basis independent from the amount of tuition remission received.
- Grants are awarded based on available funds. (Last year a total of $1500)
- The distribution of funds is realized as a credit to the student account, not by a paid disbursement.
- Applicants should expect a response from the Financial Aid Committee by November 15th.
