This is a support group that meets on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. If you've ever had a significant change that you've wanted to make in your life, and you either haven't made it successfully, or you haven't made it as fully as you might wish, then this offering may be something for you. Begin a New Life is an ongoing group which provides people with tools and support for making key changes in their lives. It is based on a landmark process of change that bridges across all faiths and cultures, which is known in the Bible as the process of Repentance. The group meets year round, and you don't need to be knowledgeable or experienced in this process in order to show up, learn about it, practice it in your life, and benefit from it immediately.
This is an in-depth look at the ways the Lord cares for us and leads us. It’s based on the book, Angelic Wisdom Regarding Divine Providence by Emanuel Swedenborg. A core educational offering, this course meets on a weekly basis, Wednesday mornings, 10 a.m., except on holidays and special observance days, from September through May. Exact starting and ending dates can be obtained from our church office at 847.724.0057.
This is a series of classes geared toward newcomers. It will familiarize you with some of the core teachings of the New Church — a new Christianity. The class meets periodically one night a week for eight or ten weeks as the demand arises. Anyone can request this series of classes or join a series that may be currently under way.
