Afternoon Kindergarten Program

The Afternoon Kindergarten offers an extension of the morning program in creative expression during art, drama and music. Time is also spent in team building outside in playing sports and learning more about our local environment. This is an extension of the morning program only for those who attend the morning kindergarten program. The parents and children may choose to join either one or more of the days offered at the beginning of each term, and the days may be increased or decreased for the next term. The children stay at school and eat lunch at 12 noon with the first through eighth graders. After a half an hour quiet/rest time, they enjoy the different activities listed above, departing for home at the same time as the rest of the school (2:45 PM).
