History

Founded in 1894, the Glenview New Church School was originally created to serve the members of the Glenview New Church congregation. For over a century the school has partnered with families who are committed to basic Christian beliefs that:

• The Lord Jesus Christ is the one God of Heaven and Earth.



• We are each called to believe in the Lord and live a useful life from a love for the welfare of our neighbors.



• The Word of God is the Lord speaking to us, often in the form of a parable.

In 1999, the school’s Board of Trustees renewed its purpose and committed to providing this same values-based education to the surrounding community. Today, GNCS welcomes students of all denominations whose parents desire the values and instruction for their children that we offer.
